Fire Can Be Made to Rest

Writer’s block.

Layoffs.

Grief.

Solace.

Enlightenment.

Failure.

A pandemic…

These are prime examples of opportunities to just be; to tame the passions that may drive us to wander carelessly in a world full of promise and uncertainty. More often than not the mind needs a break from our duties and daily machinations to see life for what it is, instead of focusing on what could have been.

Stop. Reconsider. Regroup. Shift.

The tamest flame can still light up the way, providing enough warmth and courage to guide those in its path. Give yourself time to bask in the glow of your accomplishments. To connect with the intensity and calm of your success.

Enjoy the beauty cast by the shadows of the hearth. Take comfort in those who surround you. Avoid the need to consume everything in your wake.

Momentum does not stagnate when it stays still for a few moments.

The Alleyman’s Tarot

Learn to control the power of your inner dragon. Soar for the sake of enjoying the view instead of feeding the need to destroy, to conquer, and control destiny. Seek places to heal, to rest and recharge.

It is only whe we learn to celebrate the losses as strongly as you cherish the wins that we grow; that we rise taller and more fiercely than even before.
