Travelers (Netflix)

Cell groups are sent to the past with a mission: Stop an apocalyptic meteor from striking Earth and making life unbearable and nearly extinct. The Director sends each traveler back in time to inhabit the body of a person who is scheduled to die, taking over their lives and thus rewriting history. Will their plot to save the world work? It is up to Traveler 3468’s team led by alter ego FBI Grant MacLaren (Eric McCormack) to get things done.

The problem with the premise is that people can only go back in time through a host that is about to become deceased. The timing is horrible and the operation can go wrong resulting in the death of the traveler. Yet Carly, Marcy, Trevor and Philip risk it all to ensure humanity has a hope and a chance to survive. A few plot twists and story arcs into the series you will begin to understand how intricate this plan is and how much effort it takes the group to remain anonymous and not arouse suspicions as they learn to live amongst us.

Season 2 is scheduled for late 2017 or early 2018. Stream all 13 first season episodes on Netflix now. You have time to schedule this one as it is not as pressing. 😀
