It has been a few weeks since 2017 started and I have a bit of a writer’s block. Yes, I have read a lot of books, articles and had a few lessons learned but nothing worth writing home about or as captivating as the story of the first few months with Zach or the new house journey – which is still on hold due to the sewer. My new normal has become waiting, an exercise I abhor profusely.
Soon, the new house will get sewer, we will move and the DIY opportunities will start pouring in. Inspiration is right around the corner but for now, all I can do is occupy my time to make the wait bareable. Until then, I sit with this block in the middle of my musings. Still, unmoved, unchallenged and restrained.
Hopefully this ends within the week and I can celebrate our new place before my Disney World escapade. Stay tuned…
