Happy Halloween!

Hi gang! On behalf of my Enginerd crew, we’d like to wish you a safe and fun Halloween! **The picture above is of our friend Jesus, who used to make or show up with the best costumes. We miss you bro! :*)

It is hard not to be excited today because we expect to get around 100 trick or treaters. That’s our average per year. This time around though we have to manage Zach and the doorbell rings. We must make sure he has no door or visitor access to make sure he doesn’t get scared or over irritable. This promises to be an interesting predicament to solve and I will employ curtains to impede his view of the guests at the door. At least in the new house we won’t have this issue because he can’t see the door from the gated area. That is if the water and sewer ever gets hooked up in our new property.

Because of the new house drama we had to skip the Haunted House Party tradition where we awarded best costume ribbon prizes. Until this weekend passed we had had 10 straight parties, a record. Since my group is now fractured into subgroups or cliques, other parties took its place. Any other time I’d be miffed that I was not invited but I needed a break from all social contacts to get my bearings this year. Pulling off the move to the new house may come down to the wire and my husband has business travel planned shortly…so I am freaking out, naturally. 😛
