As of 1/31/2017, Château Enginerd cleared its biggest bottleneck and has sewer! Once the dust settles the yard will be leveled, the water meter dropped in and the electrical wiring bought off. If all goes well the new home will be liveable by this weekend and ours by 2/9!!!! Hopefully our builder is as excited and puts the pedal to the metal to get this done and off the books for 2017.
Up next, the house needs the water heater, fence and A/C to meet the original contract offerings. The engineered wood flooring is all scratched up thanks to the dogs and foot traffic which is not cool but totally expected. We bought rugs on sale at Ikea to minimize future scratching and while we repair the big gouges. You win some, you lose some.
I can finally start the DIY master closet and office space. Yay! Can’t wait to move! Eeek! T – a few days…
