The Seattle Symphony hosts a concert series called the Seattle Pops which merges the art and skill of classical music with popular culture. Last year, the blog featured the Sci-Fi at the Pops concert and in a way this shiw is similar because it features movie scores but it adds on the dance, acrobatics and contortionists of Cirque du Soleil to create a unique 3D experience for the attendees. You hear the music play in the background as the artists soar above their heads or perform on the same stage as the musicians. It is a must see show that is open for anyone five years and older.
Benaroya Hall rules prohibit taking pictures during this event and to be honest you have to be there to appreciate the grace and beauty of the show. For first timers it will be an experience of a lifetime as these Cirque performances are truly brilliant and usually more expensive than a Pops ticket. If you missed out this season, check out when and where the next show will occur and get tickets as soon as possible. You will not regret it.

[…] how much more we enjoyed the simpler and not as technical Cirque at the Symphony, I think this franchise is very well cemented and timeless so it won’t need incredible feats […]
