Askew (A Poem)

Off kilter. 
       Off center.
Crooked. 
       Undone.
Slanted.
        Lopsided.
Taunting.
       Haunting. 
Awry.

The fire within unwilling to be tamed,
The rage, one sided, consuming unevenly my quiet existence,
The voices in my head asymmetrically seek justice;
The world spirals out of control, catawampus, discombobulating my soul.
