Love, Eternal

Today I lost another friend 
to doubt and indifference;
to social norms impossed by others;
to the cruel reality of adapting to change and overcoming fear.

I struggle to see the need of the inflicted pain,
Of the perceived life's lessons;
The need to judge a person and deprive them of forgiveness for following their hearts,
Instead of understanding their beautiful mistakes.

A persons value shouldn't be truncated by their transgressions,
Especially if their worthwhile deeds are greater than their failures.

Don't lock away the person.
Don't throw away the key.
Invoke courage, reason and doubt.
